About Engineers for a Sustainable World @ UCI
The Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) Network is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 with its first student chapter at Cornell. The core vision of its founders was to:

-
Support a diverse group of engineers with different backgrounds.
-
Unite engineers of various disciplines to work on projects
-
Incorporate sustainable learning in the studies of an engineer.
-
Encourage ideas that helped the world economically, socially and sustainably
-
Increase community participation in development and engineering.

Created in 2016, the student chapter of ESW here at UCI strives to achieve this vision by offering resources for engineers to design, build and showcase environmentally friendly projects, offering career development workshops and training, and much more.

ESW is a club open to any and all majors interesting in learning about the environment and how to live a sustainable lifestyle. Please sign up for our newsletter and join us for our next meeting!
A Big Thanks to our Sponsors!
Engineers for a Sustainable World has grown and thrived in the past few years in many ways. Our growth follows the primary mission of all ESW student chapters which is assisting in the development of professional engineers who are united around the goal of sustainability.
We provide the engineering community here at UCI with career development panels, new projects centered around green technology, and other resources which helps them grow as both engineers and as advocates for the planet. ESW couldn't do any of this without the support of our sponsors! Your aid helps make all of this possible and allows us to make an impact on the undergraduate community here at UCI.
